Asaba the Monkey app for iPhone and iPad

The App is designed for Mr. Katsumi Asaba “80 x 80” Rug design and exhibition project. The exhibition will be opened in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen in May 2021, and will be toured to Europe, Japan and other countries later on.

猿 (Monkey) is not only a figure illustrating the bond between Asaba-san and Tommy, but also symbolises vibrance, agility and versatility of his works.

In this artwork, the pictorial bits and Asaba-sans signature graphics together compose his portrait with the strokes to celebrate his 80th birthday, as well as their sincere friendship. The audience can interact with AR effects and engages with the content through the APP.
